Le GR221<\/strong> est appel\u00e9 route de la pierre s\u00e8che (Ruta de la pedra en sec en majorquin) en raison du grand nombre de constructions r\u00e9alis\u00e9es avec cette m\u00e9thode ancestrale qui le jalonnent, des pierres taill\u00e9es \u00e0 la main qui s\u2019emboitent et forment un dessin harmonieux sans jamais utiliser de liant. D\u2019une longueur d\u2019environ 183 km, le GR221 traverse du Nord au Sud la Serra de Tramuntana, le massif montagneux de l\u2019Ouest de Majorque, inscrit depuis 2011 au Patrimoine mondial de l\u2019Unesco. Profitant des anciens sentiers qui longent les plus hauts sommets de la Serra Tramuntana, cet itin\u00e9raire a \u00e9t\u00e9 balis\u00e9 selon les normes officielles et, est ainsi devenu un v\u00e9ritable sentier de grande randonn\u00e9e de plus en plus pris\u00e9.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Le circuit officiel part d\u2019Andratx au sud pour relier Pollen\u00e7a au nord (en passant par les villages de Calvi\u00e0, Estellencs, Banyalbufar, Esporles, Valldemossa, Dei\u00e0, S\u00f3ller et Escorca)<\/span>. Il se divise en 8 \u00e9tapes qui permettent de passer la nuit soit dans une auberge de montagne soit dans un h\u00f4tel plus confortable au sein d\u2019un village. Des services de bus (TIB) permettent de faire le GR221 en plusieurs excursions plus courtes.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
