Mountains overlooking the sea, coves with turquoise waters, beautiful towns and villages, works by artists. There&#39;s plenty to do!<br \/>\nIt is also a beautiful hiking destination in the fall and spring. The beautiful Serra Tramuntana massif only peaks at 1432 m, but when you start from sea level, it can still make beautiful climbs. The island lends itself well to a mixed stay, half hiking, half visit and stroll. You can walk around, avoiding a lot of concrete and overcrowded coastlines. And then, we eat well: fish, seafood, meat, tapas, there is the choice, and to accompany Mallorcan wine &#8230;<\/h2>\n<h2>The island has a population of nearly 900,000. It takes its name from the limited region of the island where the sun can be seen rising over the sea. Indeed, the landscape is a mountain range that separates it from the plain (from the co-ordque of pla that borders it to the northwest). Its name refers directly to the tramontane, the north wind present in the massif and blowing from the continent (from France between the central massif and the Pyrenees). It is a massif consisting mainly of medium mountains and coastal hills that plunge towards the sea in high, well-carved cliffs.<br \/>\n<a role=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/unsuisseamallorca.com\/index.php\/la-serra-tramuntana-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><br \/>\nLearn more<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Palma<\/h3>\n<p>Its municipal area is 208.63 km2 which stretches between the Na Burguesa mountain range and the Prado de Sant Jordi. The city is located in the center of Palma Bay, about 13 meters above sea level. Several torrents, such as La Riera or Gros, flow into the Mediterranean. With 440,772 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2018), Palma is the eighth largest city in Spain in terms of population and the first of the Balearic Islands. It is a flat area that runs along the eastern foothills of the Serra Tramuntana. To the south and east lie the vast plains of Es Pla, punctuated by hills topped by monasteries, hermitages or castles.<br \/>\n<a role=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/unsuisseamallorca.com\/index.php\/raiguer-la-cote-nord\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><br \/>\nLearn more<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Inland: La Pla de Mallorca<\/h3>\n<p>La Pla de Mallorca (officially in Catalan) formerly Llanura de Mallorca. It is essentially the continuity of the Pla de Mallorca to the south, the Randa massif separates the two cons. It is a mainly limestone plain with the main summit of the Puig de Sant Salvador at 510 meters. The coast is a succession of sandy beaches and rocky promontoirs the calas are sometimes deep like Cala Pi.
